White House Home Theater
Dubya & Company have quite the posh place to watch their flicks…check it out!
Interesting full article (and several photos) about the personal touches the current residents have done with the “big house”.. read it here.
No commentsWorkonomics
Vital Juice Daily posted a good short little post today about making your workspace more ergonomic.
Do yourself a favor and take 3 minutes to evaluate the workspace(s) you spend too many hours a day!
No commentsThank You!
Thanks to all that donated to the American Heart Association Hoops for Heart. It was a great success, you all helped me reach my goal of $700! I collected the highest amount from my entire school! My gym teacher said “this is the most any one student has collected that I’ve known of”. I felt so proud and wanted to make sure you saw the following video:
Thank you very much for all your support!

Better News Sources
Scott Kelby brought up a post Friday that I am so on the same page with him on….the fact that most all of the news from the big sources is nothing but bad things happening, and how depressing it always is! That’s the same reason I hate watching the news on TV, and very very rarely did so the past few years.
So out of some replies to his post, and searching my own, I thought I would share my select few sources for better news!
19 min – This is a simple blog based source, usually using short video clips, or photos, broken into several categories (News & Politics, Business, Health, Technology, Sports, Books & Arts, Entertianment and Amusing)
Financial Times (FT) - This follows a format very similar to the Wall Street Journal, but it’s free!
No commentsBBC – Of course, the British Broadcasting Company normally keeps things on the up&up and has so many nice features of languages, mobile, country specific, etc…unlike anything here in the States!
Wacky – Random Facts
This is a fun little website that, well…generates facts! (like you didn’t see that one coming!)
No comments2-20-08 Lunar Eclipse Photos
Well with a wind chill of 2° and too much cloud cover rolling in, I wasn’t able to get much for pictures of tonight’s Lunar Eclipse. These were taken on a Canon 20D, at 560mm, f/8, 1/8th second at ISO 200….and yes they are crops from the original size!

My phone (MotoQ) handles websites fairly well, but there’s still many times when I want to go to a site, or come across a site that is just more pain than it’s worth! Well this website may be well known to some of you, but I hadn’t tried it until tonight….and it is awesome!
Mowser converts pages in a predictable, linear manner, removes heavy multimedia, and sizes things to fit better on your mobile phone.
If you haven’t tried it, give it a QWERTY try for yourself!
5 commentsSlam and Bamb
Two tournaments are coming up for our Taekwondo school (Gautreauxs), and boy are we ready! The two tournaments are the Intramural and the Kansas City Classic. I will be competing in forms competition, doing Crane Form and Chil-Jong….as well as my favorite competition, sparring.
I’m training hard to get ready for Slam and Bamb!

Ahhhh…..the smell of high-octane fuel, burning rubber, and oil is in the air….it’s the official start of NASCAR 2008! The 50th running of the Daytona 500 is today, should be a good race. I’m an “Ed Head”…or Carl Edwards (#99) fan for those not aware.
I’ll keep you posted from time-to-time how our standings are in Fantasy Auto Racing season in group Tornado Alley.
LET’S GO RACIN’ BOYS!
